Hunting lodge by Vnouček Pond
The hunting lodge offers a unique location right next to the private Vnouček Pond, set in an orchard in the heart of South Bohemian nature, with a stunning view of Blanský Forest and a game reserve.
Location of the hunting lodge
The hunting lodge is located in an orchard very close to a game reserve with wild animals such as fallow deer, mouflons, and Milu deer. From the lodge, you have a beautiful view of the reserve and its wildlife. In front of the lodge is Vnouček Pond, covering 1.5 hectares, where you can enjoy pleasant swimming in hot weather. It is also an ideal spot for fishing trophy fish that we have in the pond.
The orchard is small but full of various fruits—apples, pears, cherries, plums, and quinces. From this orchard, we make our homemade products, including our renowned homemade jams.
You have access to a terrace located in front of the pond, where you can enjoy your morning coffee, read, or simply relax in the sun. On warm evenings, you’ll surely appreciate the stylish seating on large stones arranged around a natural fire pit, where you can roast not only sausages.
Facilities of the hunting lodge
The hunting lodge has a capacity of 5 to 9 people. You have access to a bathroom with a toilet and a shower, a small kitchen for preparing breakfasts as well as more substantial meals. Each room is equipped with electricity.
Additionally, you have access to:
- Two bedrooms and an attic loft
- A common room with a kitchenette
- Kitchen stove
- A terrace with seating
- Outdoor fire pit with grilling options
- One parking space is available in front of the lodge (additional cars can be parked at the Ekofarma Horní Chrášťany guesthouse).
Rental price
Occupancy of the lodge for up to 5 people – 3,500 CZK/night
Occupancy of the lodge for 5 or more people – 4,500 CZK/night
Smoking is prohibited in the hunting lodge, and lighting a fire is only allowed in the designated area. For safety reasons, the hunting lodge is equipped with a fire extinguisher.
Pets are allowed, but they must be under strict control on a leash throughout the stay. Free roaming is prohibited due to the wild game in the surrounding game reserve.
You can purchase a fishing permit for the pond at the Ekofarma Horní Chrášťany guesthouse. If you are interested in fishing, please let us know in advance so we can reserve fishing spots for you.
