Brewery

The brewery is located right on the premises of Ekofarma and is part of the restaurant. We brew honest craft beers from the best ingredients. You thus have a unique opportunity to taste and see the production. And if you happen to meet our brewer, you might even learn something new about brewing beer.

When visiting the brewery, we recommend ordering a tasting set. You will literally have all the beers on one board.

CHRÁŠŤAN 11°

Light lager of the South Bohemian type with a slight bitterness, brewed from three types of malt and Žatec hops. Unfiltered, unpasteurized. We don’t have time to brew eleven, it’s our best-selling beer. Many of those who have taken more than just “for thirst” say that it is good to drink and you always want to have one more.

CHRÁŠŤAN 12°

Traditional pale lager with higher bitterness, recommended for meaty and fatty dishes. Unfiltered, unpasteurized. Twelve is bittersweet, just as we wished. We managed to make it according to our tastes without having to imitate the beers we like.

CHRÁŠŤAN POLOTMAVÝ 11°

A semi-dark Bavarian-type lager with medium bitterness and nutty notes. Unfiltered, unpasteurized. Semi-dark eleven is our most admired beer. It has only a slight hint of smoky malt and again we succeeded in a beer where one tasting will not be enough.

SVĚTLÝ KROUŽKOVANÝ SPECIÁL 13°

It’s time for a brand new special for those long winter evenings. We added “rings” of fermented wort to the fermented beer, which revived the fermentation of the beer. The addition of “rings” has a positive effect on the freshness and freshness of this exceptional specialty.

CHRÁŠŤAN IPA 12°

A special beer with a beautiful aroma, long-lasting and balanced bitterness will delight not only lovers of the IPA beer style.
For the production, we used 5 types of hops and a lot of enthusiasm for the new type of Chrášťany beer. Designed for beer connoisseurs. Unfiltered, unpasteurized.

CHRÁŠŤAN APA

We have newly brewed a light summer beer for you with balanced bitterness and fruity notes reminiscent of citrus fruits. The American variant of the classic English beer, in style it is close to the special IPA (Indian Pale Ale), but it does not contain as much alcohol for the summer season.

History of the brewery

The Horní Chrášťany brewery was started by Ing. Milan Jungwirth to build an eco-farm in 2016-2017. After successfully building the entire eco-farm, boarding house, restaurant, game reserve and pond, his next dream came true – to brew his own beer from Chrášťany at the foot of the Blanský forest. The ceremonial opening of the brewery took place on July 22, 2017.
